Leisure
Punting along the River Cam is traditional and an essential part of any visit. It also offers access to 'The Backs' of the colleges, which often otherwise remain unseen.
Kings College has a famous chapel and choir, along with all the history that goes with such a long-standing institution.
Many of the universities are open to the public and guided tours are available. Guided open topped busses also tour the city.
Lovers of the Arts will not be disappointed, with several local companies and of course the students putting on plays throughout the year.
Further afield, attractions include the Imperial War Museum at Duxford and the National Horse Racing Museum at Newmarket.
Within a day trip's distance are the Stately Homes of Wimpole Hall, Anglesey Abbey and Audley End.
