This is an excellent base for visiting Worcester and the surrounding area with its many historic towns and business centres.
Only 9 miles north of Worcester and 6 miles south of Kidderminster, this traditional oak beamed cottage retains its original character.
Sympathetically converted into a guest house / bed and breakfast, the property offers modern accommodation in rural Worcestershire.
Garden Cottages is set amongst 5 acres, in a quiet position but within easy reach of main roads and motorways.
Guests are welcome to use the sitting room, sun lounge and sun terrace. There is ample parking space for vehicles.
Garden Cottages is graded by the English Tourism Council as '4 Diamonds Bed and Breakfast with Gold Award'.
The guest house has also been awarded 4 Diamonds from the AA.

Each room at Garden Cottages is centrally heated and has:

Bedroom 1 is a spacious suite and can be used as family accommodation. There is a double bed and enough room for either one or two beds to be added.
It has an en-suite bathroom with bath, toilet and 2 wash basins.
Bedroom 2 is a double bedded room with private en-suite facilities.
Bedroom 4 is a twin bedded room with private en-suite facilities.
Bedroom 3 is a single room and has private use of an adjacent bathroom [not en-suite] with bath, shower, toilet and wash basin.
Food and Drink
An Aga-cooked full English or a Continental breakfast is available each morning, using eggs from the prize-winning poultry, resident at Garden Cottages!
An evening meal is available if booked in advance. Packed lunches are also available and special diets can be catered for.
There are several pubs and restaurants in nearby Kidderminster or Worcester, and some within walking distance of the house.
Location
Garden Cottages B&B is situated in a quiet rural position but close to the main A449 Worcester to Kidderminster road.
It is within easy reach of Worcester, Birmingham and the M5.
The Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon are just 30 minutes drive away.
Leisure
Crossway Green is within easy reach of the best countryside that Worcestershire offers and is close to its major attractions. There is an excellent pay and play golf course, leisure centres and major shopping centres nearby.
The Worcester and Kidderminster area offers miles of way-marked walking paths, from easy going trails, riverside paths and forest walks to long distance walks. The Worcestershire countryside also offers many opportunities for horse riding and cycling. There are numerous waterways and miles of peaceful river banks and tow-paths.
The West Midlands Safari Park is close by, along with Britain's premier steam railway - The Severn Valley Railway, which holds several major events throughout the year. Trains operate at weekends all year round, and daily from mid May to mid October. The beautifully restored railway offers a 16 mile journey through glorious countryside from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth.
The city of Worcester boasts a magnificent Cathedral, the splendid Guildhall, Royal Worcester Porcelain, The Commandery Civil War Centre, museums and landscaped parks. Worcester Racecourse, with its exciting National Hunt programme [horse racing over fences] and the County Cricket ground offer an exciting day out for sports lovers.
