Cambridge is a 20 minute drive from this bed and breakfast accommodation on a working farm.
Set in peaceful Cambridgeshire countryside, there are lovely views over open fields.
Model Farm was built in the 1870s using local bricks and retains many of its original features.
Accommodation
All bedrooms have private en-suite facilities [shower, toilet and wash basin].
Rooms are well equipped, with:
- Colour television
- Tea and coffee making facilities
Accommodation is double bedded and single occupancy is also possible.
Food and Drink
A variety of breakfasts are on offer each morning, ranging from the traditional English cooked option, to a lighter continental version - with Model Farm's own honey.
For evening meals there are several traditional country pubs within a 10 minute drive. There are also some restaurants and a Chinese take-away nearby.
Location
Model Farm is to the west of Cambridge on the B1046 road, in-between the villages of Longstowe and Little Gransden.
'Don't look for us in Little Gransden, you will get horribly lost!!'
If coming from Longstowe, the farm entrance is on the right hand side, just before a bend in the road [if you see the Little Gransden sign, you have gone too far].
