All bedrooms are individually decorated with double glazed windows, and the guest house has central heating throughout.

The Somerset Suite is a small double bedroom with en-suite facilities [shower]. The Bristol Suite is a twin bedded room with en-suite facilities [shower].

The Wells Room can have a 'super king-size' double bed or twin beds and shares bathroom facilities [bath and shower] with the Cheddar Room - which can be a twin, triple or single.

The Churchill Suite is a double room with 'king size' bed, and enough room for an extra bed if required. The en-suite facilities include bath and shower.

A carefully prepared, cooked English breakfast is served from 07:30am each morning at individual tables - features include home-made preserves, home-baked bread and fresh local Somerset produce.

A delicious continental style, self-service breakfast is available before 07:30am for early travellers from Bristol International Airport. A choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, juice, muffins, croissants, toast and homemade preserves can be made available.

There are 2 local hostelries serving excellent evening meals only yards from The Mendip Gate Guest House, and a number of alternative choices are within a short drive.

The Mendip Gate Guest House is situated 5 miles south of Bristol Airport on the A38. If you are travelling by public transport, there is a mainline railway station in Bristol.

A bus service connects this guest house directly to Bristol Bus Station [the bus stop is only a few steps from the front door].

At The Guest House - £35.00 for up to 7 days, £55.00 for up to 15 days, to include courtesy transfers both ways. Parking spaces are limited at The Mendip Gate Guest House.

At Silver Zone Bristol Airport - holiday parking can be pre-booked for you at The Silver Zone, Bristol Airport from just £29.00 for up to 8 days [peak times are £2.00 per week extra]. The car park is just four miles from Mendip Gate Guest House, on the same road, on the way to the airport. The last half mile is by courtesy airport bus. Please ask for this service if required.
