General Details
This traditional Yorkshire Dales village has many attractions for visitors - a popular pub, a craft shop, an excellent tea shop, a village store and a lovely church.
Muker village is also an ideal base for a walking holiday in Swaledale, with walks leading off in all directions - many along the banks of the picturesque River Swale.
The local tea shop and village store offers a good standard of bed and breakfast accommodation, and the owners can advise guests on the best places to visit in the area.
Originally the Vicarage, the tea shop was built in 1680 and retains much of its 'Olde world charm' today.
