General Details
This bed and breakfast accommodation offers comfort, convenience and luxury - an ideal place to stay when visiting North East Hampshire.
A short drive from the scenic North Downs, this house has a fantastic location close to Fleet and Farnham, Farnborough and Hook, Aldershot and Basingstoke.
The 'Silicon Valley' industrial area is also within easy commuting distance - this is a perfect location for visiting business people.
Next door to the Four Seasons Hampshire Hotel [a major wedding venue] Tundry House offers the perfect alternative accommodation for wedding guests.
The house is set back from the village road with a private drive and 5 acres of formal gardens, including a tennis court and paddock.
Tundry House is where Charlotte M Younge wrote her best known novel. A leading literary inspiration to the Oxford Movement in the 1850s, Charlotte was a friend of the Rector's daughter in Dogmersfield.
Dogmersfield is one of the most historic villages in Britain; this is where King Henry VII first vetted Catherine of Aragon before passing her on for marriage to his eldest son, Arthur, and then later on to his second son, who became King Henry VIII.
Accommodation
The luxury accommodation available at Tundry House begins with two separate outbuildings for bed and breakfast guests.
The Cottage is located within the gardens and has two bedrooms. One has a double bed, and the other has two single beds.
The Cottage has a well equipped kitchen with microwave, washing machine and tea or coffee making facilities.
Popular with both business and leisure visitors, the cottage also has its own bathroom, a sitting room with colour television and CD player, and a patio surrounded by lawns.
The Dairy is a smaller property, and it is a separate annexe of Tundry House. The bedroom has two separate beds, comfortable armchairs, a small hallway and a bathroom.
The Dairy has a colour television and tea or coffee making facilities.
With views across the rear lawns, the dairy has its own access through the courtyard and nearby parking facilities. It can also be accessed through the main house.
In addition to The Cottage and The Dairy, there are two bedrooms in the main house.
The twin bedroom [two separate single beds] overlooks the rear lawn, and has its own bathroom. It is equipped with a colour television on request, and tea or coffee making facilities.
The double bedroom [one double bed] has views to the west and towards the village church. It has its own modern shower room, and there is also a bathroom available nearby, on the same floor of the house. The double room has tea or coffee making facilities.
