Guests can experience a combination of traditional character and contemporary luxury, with traditional woooden ceiling beams and cosy king-sized beds.

Set on the edge of the Sussex Downs, some of the bedrooms offer countryside views.

Accommodation is offered in one of six bedrooms, all of which have modern en-suite facilities.

Each bathroom has a power shower and towels and complimentary toiletries are provided.

Afternoon tea is also available on request and there are two country pubs serving excellent food within easy walking distance.

Lavant is situated less than three miles from the centre of Chichester, close to the south coast of Britain.

Portsmouth is situated just 20 miles west of Lavant, and Bognor Regis is 10 miles to the east.

The area surrounding Lavant and Chichester has a wide range of activities and places of interest.

Attractions to Chichester include the Cathedral and Harbour, and theatre enthusiasts will appreciate the range of productions offered at the Chichester Festival Theatre.

For sports fans, nearby Goodwood hosts horse and motor racing, Gold Cup Polo is played at Cowdray Park in Midhurst, and the famous Goodwood Racecourse is within easy reach of the guest house.

Other points of interest in the area include Arundel Castle and the many attractions offered in Portsmouth and Bognor Regis.
