Dalmonds Barns

These self catering holiday cottages in Hertfordshire are conveniently located for Stansted, Luton and Heathrow Airports.

Central London is only 30 minutes away by train and Hertford is less than 3 miles away - but this countryside location is surrounded by scenic and peaceful woodland.

Originally used as the barns of a farm, the properties have been sympathetically converted and a choice of cottages is now available, with exposed beams and many original features.

Sunnybrooks Cottage and Badgers Cottage can each accommodate 5 adults and features include:

• Bedroom 1
  [double or twin beds + en-suite shower room]
• Bedroom 2
  [double or twin beds + full-size folding bed]
• Family bathroom
  [with bath, shower, wash basin and toilet]

In Sunnybrooks, the large windows overlook the grounds and the internal hall of the cottage has an open division formed by the original beams.

Hay Barn Cottage accommodates 5 adults in 2 bedrooms - 1 with a double bed, the other with double or twin beds.

The double room in Hay Barn has an en-suite wash basin and toilet and there is also room for an additonal folding bed.  The family bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Hay Barn has a large dual aspect living room and is particularly suitable for families with small children.

Moat Cottage has a sloping ceiling bedroom in the old hay loft - with a small double bed [4ft wide], a single bed and an en-suite shower room.

The living room has a beamed ceiling and stairs leading to the bedroom above.  The windows in Moat Cottage overlook the moat and surrounding fields.

All cottages have a living room with:

• 2 settees
  [except Moat Cottage, with 1 armchair + 1 settee]
• Dining table and chairs
• Colour television and video

Each cottage has a fully fitted kitchen with:

• Full size oven, hob and microwave
• Large fridge/freezer
• Dishwasher and washer/drier
• Cooking utensils and crockery

A welcome pack is provided in each property, containing all that is needed for your first breakfast - for example milk, bread, yoghurt, fruit juice, preserves, cereal, tea and coffee.

There are a number of country pubs that serve food nearby.  Further choices are available in nearby Ware and Hertford, where there is also a choice of supermarkets and grocery stores.

Dalmonds Barns cottages are situated in Mangrove Lane and there is very access to both the A10 and the M25.

This location is close to Hertford, Hoddesdon, Welwyn Garden City and Ware - but within easy reach of London.

The cottages are also close to Knebworth, Hatfield House, The National Trust's Wimpole Hall and Audley End House.

The cottages are also within easy driving distance of Blenheim Palace, Whipsnade Zoo and Woburn Abbey Wildlife Park.

Sunnybrooks, Badgers and Hay Barn cottages:
£495.00 per week, reduced to £375.00 per week for monthly lets.

Moat Cottage:
£375.00 per week, reduced to £295.00 per week for monthly lets.

Apple Tree Cottage
£375.00 per week, reduced to £295.00 per week for monthly lets.

Short breaks may be available on request.
The cost of all heating and hot water is included.

Smoking is not allowed at Dalmonds Barns properties.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
Covered parking available for guests.
Pets by arrangement only.
