"My stay at this hotel was pleasurable although not a good as it could have been, the room we occupied was at the top of the stairs near the fire door so could at times be a bit noisy, the hotel was taken over about 18 months ago and the current owners are slowly refurbishing the establishment. Unfortunatly in my opinion the style and fittings being aquired are not either in keeping with the property or contempary enough to make a bold statement. The food on the menu was no better than you would expect in the local pub, ok if you like large portions but mediocre if you are looking for quality, hopefully things will improve because I belive the current owners have a wish to improve the place however are in need of help in how to achieve this.
