M5 Michaelwood Services are located between Junctions 13 and 14 of the M5 motorway and are 4 miles south west of Dursley.

M5 Michaelwood Services Northbound, Gloucestershire GL11 6DDA large hotel located in M5 Michaelwood Services area [northbound], between Junction 13 and 14.
"I was travelling from Nottingham to Exeter and this was an ideal stop-off point. Although it is on the northbound carriageway and I was heading south, it was incredibly easy to access and even easier to rejoin the M1 southbound via the small road running straight from the hotel. I have never stayed in a motorway hotel before. As it was so cheap, I was amazed by what was offered - huge bed, sofa area and TV. Breakfast was a bit pricey but they have to make their money somewhere! I went over to the service station for breakfast which was, of course, expensive. The hairdryer in our room was broken but we were given access to another vacant room with no problems. Apart from that it was one of the best hotels I have stayed in at that price!"
