Green Gables offers guest house accommodation close to the centre of Oxford.
Built in 1914 for a local merchant, this elegant house is full of period character, and set back from the road.

Two rooms are on ground floor level of the guest house.
One of the ground floor bedrooms has been adapted for disabled people - with its own ramp and front door, no internal steps and an adapted bathroom.

The dining room overlooks the garden of Green Gables. At the Breakfast Bar there is self-service selection of cereals and fresh fruit.
Each morning, fruit juices [orange, apple and grapefruit] and hot beverages are available - including freshly brewed tea or coffee.
Also included in the room rates is a full English, Vegetarian or Continental-style breakfast.
Resident proprietor, Narinder Bhella, can provide detailed advice on restaurants in Oxford city centre.
Location
Green Gables is just over 1 mile south of the centre of Oxford, and has ample off street parking for guests.
Frequent buses leave for the city centre from a stop just 30 yards away from the guest house.
Alternatively, you can reach the centre by taking a fine walk along the River Thames, with splendid views across the famous Christ Church Meadows.

Regretfully, Green Gables does not take reservations during summer and autumn for Saturday night only. You are asked to stay for a minimum of 2 nights, including either the Friday or Sunday.
