The dining room overlooks the garden of Green Gables. At the Breakfast Bar there is self-service selection of cereals and fresh fruit.

Each morning, fruit juices [orange, apple and grapefruit] and hot beverages are available - including freshly brewed tea or coffee.

Also included in the room rates is a full English, Vegetarian or Continental-style breakfast.

Resident proprietor, Narinder Bhella, can provide detailed advice on restaurants in Oxford city centre.

Green Gables is just over 1 mile south of the centre of Oxford, and has ample off street parking for guests.

Frequent buses leave for the city centre from a stop just 30 yards away from the guest house.

Alternatively, you can reach the centre by taking a fine walk along the River Thames, with splendid views across the famous Christ Church Meadows.
