Whilst the accommodation is very close to the busy centre and attractions of Scotland's capital city, the hotel is located in one of the quietest streets.

Providing bed and breakfast accommodation since May 1993, the Clan Campbell is a 'a home away from home' with only 10 bedrooms, so you can be assured of a warm welcome and a good night's sleep.

The hotel owners John and Ursula will be pleased to assist with planning a tour or offer advice on restaurants, cafes, leisure activities and how to make the most of your visit to Edinburgh.

There are double, twin, single and family rooms (accommodation for 3 or 4 people) available.

Family rooms have 1 king size double bed and 2 single beds and en-suite bathroom facilities including bath and shower. A cot for a baby can be provided in any room on request (please advise at time of booking if required).

Twin rooms have 1 double and 1 single bed and en-suite bathroom facilities including bath and shower. Double rooms have a double bed and en-suite bathroom facilities with either a shower, or a bath with a shower over.

The 'standard' single room has an en-suite bathroom with shower. The 'premier' Single Room, completely refurbished and decorated in March last year, is spacious and has beautiful solid oak furniture including desk, wardrobe and a bedside table (with FM Clock Radio with an iPhone/iPod docking station.

The premier single room's en-suite bathroom has a shower and the room has its own private balcony where you can sit outside on a good day! A complimentary newspaper is provided.

A full hearty Scottish breakfast (try the Haggis!) is included in the accommodation price and packed picnic lunches are available.

The cosy lounge bar for residents offers a fine selection of malt whiskies and beers.

The local area surrounding the hotel has a variety of well known and popular bars, restaurants and delicatessens.

Breakfast is usually served from 8.00am to 9.30am Monday to Friday and 8.00am to 10.00am at weekends, although earlier times for breakfast are available by arrangement. If you are leaving the hotel before 7.00am in the morning, please ask for other more flexible options.

The menu begins with a selection of cereals or hot, creamy Scottish porridge. One of the best local butchers in Edinburgh is nearby so the full, traditional breakfast is highly recommended with pork sausages, smoked bacon, haggis and black pudding!

Alternative choices include a Vegetarian cooked breakfast or a Continental Style platter - cheese, cold meats, yoghurt, fresh fruit and croissants. Special diets and requirements such as a gluten free or wheat free breakfast can be arranged with advance notice.

The accommodation is centrally located in between Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace (the official residence of the Queen when in Scotland). Waverley Railway Station, St Andrews Bus Station and the main roads into Edinburgh are all within a 10 minute walk.

On street parking is available on 'pay and display' ticket basis outside the hotel between 8.30am and 5.30pm from Monday to Friday. Parking at weekends and overnight during the week is free of charge. Guests with their own vehicles can also park on London Road (a 2 minute walk from the hotel) for up to 9 hours at a time (the cost is £1 per hour for the first 4 hours and cheaper thereafter).
