Andrew and Deborah welcome you to the Hillcrest House in Wigtown, near Newton Stewart, Dumfries and Galloway.
The accommodation is spacious, the atmosphere is relaxed and the views of the Solway Firth are excellent.
There is an elegant guest lounge and a contemporary dining room.
Hillcrest House has been awarded 3 Stars by the Scottish Tourist Board.
Accommodation
All bedrooms are individually decorated and all except one are south or east facing, with lovely views across Wigtown Bay Nature Reserve.
Each room has either en-suite facilities, except the family room, which has a private bathroom adjacent.
There is a choice of twin, double, single occupancy or family accommodation.
The largest bedroom can accommodate up to four people but is also ideal for a honeymoon or a romantic break, with a king-size double bed and seating area.
Extra luxuries such as breakfast in bed, chilled Champagne, fresh flowers or chocolates can be arranged.
Food and Drink
The east facing dining room seats 24 comfortably and has contemporary decor, incorporating the 'Book town' connection.
Breakfast can be tailored to your requirements each day and features juice, fruit, cereal and a full cooked breakfast menu.
Hillcrest House is a member of 'Savour the Flavours' and always uses fresh local produce whenever possible. Evening meals are served at 19:00 - children's tea can be served earlier by arrangement.
Vegetarian and special diets can be catered for - please advise about this when booking.
Location
Wigtown is 6 miles south of the main A75 road and Newton Stewart.
Hillcrest is located at the south end of the village, in a quiet residential area.
The house is a 10 minute walk from either the centre of Wigtown or the harbour.
Leisure
The south west of Scotland is largely undiscovered - with its abundance of wildlife and stunning scenery the area is perfect for walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing, golfing or just relaxing.
Wigtown is Scotland's National Book Town and home to over 25 book dealers and related businesses. Bladnoch whisky distillery and visitor centre is only a five minute drive away and Whithorn - the cradle of Scottish Christianity - is a 15 minute drive away.

Bed and breakfast £25.00 to £35.00 per person per night.
