Bowmore is virtually in the centre of the island and very easy to get to from either ferry port [approximately 10 miles away in either direction].

The Harbour Inn is on the right hand side past The Celtic House if arriving from Port Askaig, or at the very bottom of Main Street, on The Square, if you have travelled from Port Ellen.

The Isle of Islay can be reached by sea [ferry services from Kennacraig on Kintyre, booking required] or air [regular flights from Glasgow Airport].
