The golf course at Belleisle Golf Club in Ayr was designed by James Braid in 1927, and is an 18 hole Parkland Course. with only two par four holes under 400 yards the course also features one of the hardest par three holes in Ayrshire!

Belleise is one of the finest public golf courses in Scotland, with long fairways flanked by tall beech trees, and a water hazard provided by a winding burn.

Other golfing challenges are provided at Dalmilling Golf Club [near Ayr Racecourse, close to the hotel], Seafield Golf Club [adjacent to Belleisle], and the partly coastal Girvan Golf Club [a neighbour of Turnberry Golf Club].
