From Glasgow:

Follow the M74 to Glasgow towards the the Erskine Bridge.

Cross the Erskine Bridge and take the A82 to Tarbet, then the A83 to Inveraray.

Take the B840 from Inveraray, which is signposted Cladich and Ford, and follow this road for approximately four miles.

The Portsonachan Hotel and Loch Awe will be visible.

From Edinburgh:

Take the M9 road towards Stirling until junction 10.

Head towards Lochearnhead and continue on the A85 to Crianlarich, then Oban.

Keep on the A85 until you see the sign for Inveraray, which will take you onto the A819.

Travel along this road until you come to the Cladich turnoff. The Portsonachan Hotel is approximately four miles further on.

The area surrounding the Portsonachan Hotel and Loch Awe is known for its excellent fishing opportunities - the Loch is home to Salmon, Trout and Pike to name just a few.
