'Tir Alainn', or 'beautiful land' in the local Isle of Skye language, offers family-run bed and breakfast accommodation in Kildonan.
Set on a hillside, guests at Tir Alainn can enjoy views over Loch Greshornish to Loch Snizort, and out across the Minch towards the mountains of the Outer Hebrides.
Kildonan is situated in the north west of the Isle of Skye and provides an ideal base from which to explore the whole of the island.
Edinbane is the closest village to Tir Alainn B&B, and Portree, the Isle of Skye's capital, is just 11 miles to the south.
Because the B&B was purpose-built to provide bed and breakfast holiday accommodation, all bedrooms benefit from sea and mountain views.
The beautiful Isle of Skye landscape can also be enjoyed from the B&B sun room and dining room whilst enjoying breakfast, or simply relaxing.

All bedrooms at Tir Alainn are furnished and decorated to provide a high standard of accommodation.
Bedrooms have en-suite facilities, each with a powerful shower - choose from either a double room or a family suite [with two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds].

Views of the surrounding sea and mountains can be appreciated from all of the bedrooms, as well as from the sun room and dining room.

For lunchtime dining, the nearby village of Edinbane has a village shop for supplies and hotels for full meals.
Portree offers a wider selection of amenities including supermarkets, shops, hotels, restaurants.
Location
Tir Alainn B&B is situated in Kildonan, towards the northern end of the Isle of Skye, two miles from Edinbane and 12 miles south of the island's capital, Portree.
The B&B is 44 miles from the Skye Road Bridge and the journey should take approximately one hour.
