The Ardleigh Guest House offers bed and breakfast accommodaton within walking distance of Edinburgh City Centre, and with panoramic views of the Edinburgh skyline.

An original Victorian stone villa, the guest house is furnished and decorated to a high standard and retains many of its traditional features.

Arthur's Seat, Calton Hill and Edinburgh Castle are all within easy reach of the guest house, and the rest of Edinburgh is on the doorstep just waiting to be explored.

Whilst the guest house is within walking distance of the city centre, those preferring to take the bus will not need to walk far.

The accommodation is placed on the main bus route into Edinburgh city centre, and free on-street parking is available for guests with cars.

Accommodation is offered in one of seven rooms, all of which have been recently refurbished.

All bedrooms have:

The beds are fitted with Irish linen sheets, and guests can relax on comfortable chairs in their own room.

Most of the rooms are single, double or twin rooms.

There is also a family room that can accommodation a family of five and offers views of the Edinburgh skyline.

Ironing facilities are provided and a range of toiletries are available on request.

Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room at The Ardleigh Guest House.

Traditional Scottish breakfasts and Vegetarian breakfasts are available.

For lunchtime and evening dining, Edinburgh has a variety of restaurants offering a range of excellent cuisines.

Situated approximately one and a half miles from Edinburgh city centre, the guest house is ideally located for exploring Edinburgh's New and Old Towns, and the Port of Leith area, with its many bistros and seafood restaurants.

The accommodation is also close to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and Edinburgh's festival district.

Getting to the Guest House

The Ardleigh Guest House is easily accessible by train, bus, plane or car.

By Road - From juncton 1 of the M8 motorway, turn left onto the A902 road and simply follow this for a few miles until you see Ardleigh Guest House.

By Air - The guest house is situated just 10 minutes from Edinburgh Airport by car and 30 minutes on one of the transfer buses.

By Train - Edinburgh Waverley Train Station is just 10 minutes away by taxi and the journey will cost approximately £7.00.

Special rates apply during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Christmas Holidays and the Hogmanay New Year celebrations.
