Situated just over 1 mile from the Pass of Glencoe and 15 miles south of Fort William, Fern Villa Guest House is an ideal base from which to explore the Scottish Highlands.
Ben Nevis, Loch Linnhe and the world's third largest whirlpool are all within easy reach of the guest house, and there is plenty of parking for cars.
The guest house has been awarded 3 stars by Visit Scotland and the AA, and is extremely explorer-friendly.
It has a kit drying room, serves early full cooked breakfasts on request, and offers a pick up and drop off service for guests walking the West Highland Way.
Accommodation
Accommodation is offered in three double rooms and two twin rooms, all of which have en-suite facilities.
A comfy 'Z Bed' is available for guests requiring sleeping space for a third person or child.
Each bedroom has a colour television, hairdyer and tea and coffee making facilities.
After a day exploring, guests are invited to relax in the lounge and enjoy incredible sunsets over Ballachulish and the Ardnamurchan.
Food and Drink
A range of delicious breakfast options are served each morning, including home-made porridge, Loch Fyne Kippers and a traditional cooked Scottish breakfast.
Guests can enjoy their breakfast whilst looking out over Ballachulish Shinty Park and the mountains beyond.

The Guest House is situated in the very centre of Ballachulish off the A82, just over 1 mile west of Glencoe.

There is so much to see and do in the area around Ballachulish. Suggestions include:

- Ben Nevis - the highest mountain in the UK
- Castle Stalker
- Glencoe and North Lorn Folk Museum

- Ballchulish Golf Club - just 5 minutes' drive from the guest house
