Most bedrooms have panoramic views over the Perthshire countryside.

The house was originally built in 1889 as a 'holiday cottage' for a wealthy Edinburgh family and it is now a high quality guest house.

Sympathetically extended and decorated, the house is furnished with a blend of antique and contemporary furniture.

Guests are invited to relax in the lounge, or in the south facing garden, with panoramic views of the Tummel Valley.

Expect the highest quality bedding in each spacious room, with many touches that would normally only be found in a luxury hotel.

The attractive bedrooms all have private en-suite facilities and are furnished to the very highest standard.

Each is well equipped, with a colour television, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities.

A full Scottish breakfast is available each morning with vegetarian and special diets catered for on request.

Guests can enjoy a meal in one of the intimate dining rooms, each with a solid oak floor.

The imaginative dinner menu features food that is freshly prepared, using only the finest locally-sourced ingredients.

Situated adjacent to the guest house reception area, the residents' bar is open from early evening until 22:45.

This allows time to relax with a quiet drink in the contemporary surroundings.

The bar is very well stocked including over 50 different malt whiskies, a selection of Scottish beers and a full range of wines and liqueurs.

Pitlochry is located off the A9, the main road taking visitors from the south to the north of Scotland.

The main line railway station has rail links to Inverness and Edinburgh.

It is an ideal base from which to explore Scotland - many places are within easy reach.
