Food and Drink

Good food is at the heart of Creagan House and the Baronial Dining Room, with its grand fireplace, provides the perfect setting in which to enjoy a meal.

Creagan House - Strathyre Forest

The restaurant is open 6 evenings per week [not on Thursdays].

All meals are prepared using fresh produce, much of which is grown for the house in small-holdings nearby, and herbs are from the house's own garden.

In sole charge of the kitchen, Gordon creates variations on classical French cooking with strong Scottish overtones.

A delicious meal should always be complemented by good wine and the carefully chosen wine list provides something for all tastes.

The restaurant is recommended every year by the Good Food Guide.

The dining room is ideal for special occasions and private dinner parties throughout the year, be it a birthday, wedding, conference, family get-together or a winter break.

Location

The house is situated a quarter of a mile north of the village of Strathyre, with uninterrupted views of the river, forest and mountains, in the heart of Rob Roy country.
