This Victorian terraced house is situated in a quiet tree-lined avenue with ample on-street parking facilities.
Judy and Hutch bought the hotel in December 1998 to tie in with Hutch's retirement from the army.
For the most part Judy handles the day to day running of the business but Hutch's attention to detail keeps her on her toes!
The Beverley offers the epitomy of true Celtic hospitality and an unrivalled level of personal service.
The family's enthusiasm has led to much redecoration taking place, to further improve the exisitng high standards of interior decor.
The elegant but informal atmosphere ensures a comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable stay, whether you are in Edinburgh overnight or intend to stay longer to explore the capital's delights.
Accommodation
The variety of double, twin, single, and family rooms can accommodate almost any requirement and large groups are not a problem.
Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and all have private en-suite facilities.
Some rooms are situated on the ground floor of the hotel and cots are available on request.
The comfortable bedrooms are all well equipped, with:

- Tea and coffee making facilities
The Beverley has a Wireless Broadband Network so that guests can use their laptop computers to access the internet.
Food and Drink
The importance of a good Scottish breakfast has not been overlooked, with a new kitchen recently installed.
The hotel has a great reputation its breakfast and also has a residential licence for serving alcohol.
Nearby you will find a variety of restaurants, pubs and cafes of all types where you can eat at lunchtime and in the evening.
The helpful and friendly staff are always available to assist in your choice of where to eat.
Location
The hotel is a 5-6 minute bus ride from the city centre and castle, with a choice of 7 buses.
If you prefer to be energetic, the walk to Princess Street takes about 20 minutes.
Edinburgh International Airport is 10 minutes away and the magnificent new Conference Centre is close by.
Leisure
The ancient city of Edinburgh is world renowned and there is much for the visitor to see. It is built around an extinct volcano (named Arthur's Seat) with acres of parkland and hill walks.
At its gateway is Holyrood Palace and its many occuppants included Mary Queen of Scots. One mile north of the Palace is Edinburgh Castle which towers over Princes Street, one of the finest boulevards in Europe.
The Scottish Highlands (ancestral homes of the Scottish Clans) are within a days drive. To the east are many golf courses, including the renowned Muirfield course.

The higher rates apply at peak times.
50% reduction for children under 16 years sharing with two adults, children under 3 - free.
