This handsome Georgian listed building is only 10 minutes from Edinburgh city centre when using the bus service that passes nearby.
The house enjoys continued popularity, with many guests returning whenever they stay in Edinburgh - private parking is available for guests.
The Ben Doran has been graded as a 4 Star Guest House by the Scottish Tourist Board and has been given 4 Diamonds by the AA.
Accommodation
All guest rooms have been completely and beautifully refurbished. Bedrooms are charmingly decorated, cosy and comfortable.
Some of the renowned Edinburgh architecture and beautiful hillsides can be seen from the windows.
Most bedrooms have en-suite facilities, and all have:

Each room has a wash basin, with hot and cold water.
Food and Drink
A sumptuous and elaborate Scottish breakfast is cooked to your liking and served on finest china. Vegetarians are catered for and are most welcome. Free tea and coffee is also available at all times for guests.
Afternoon tea is offered, featuring scones with jam and cream, delicious pastries and sandwiches. Packed lunches and dinner are also available on request.
Edinburgh offers a vast choice and for those who do not want to venture too far in the evening, there are many restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance of the guest accommodation.

Location
Edinburgh has mainline rail connections to London and the north of Scotland. The Ben Doran has easy access to the city centre and the main road routes from the south.
The excellent bus service takes you to the city centre in just 10 minutes. Buses 3, 7, 8, 31, 37 and 69 all pass nearby and go to/from the city centre.
