The farm land that surrounds the B&B extends as far as the sea and has spectacular views of the coastline to the north and west towards St Andrews.
There is a tennis court and croquet lawn within the informal gardens. Guests can walk from the house down to the Rock and Spindle beach.
Accommodation
Accommodation is of a high standard throughout and the hospitality is informal and welcoming. Double or twin bedded rooms are available.
Food and Drink
A full breakfast is available each day and hosts Sandy and Frippy will normally be delighted for guests to join them for dinner.
Although there is no licensed bar available, complimentary drinks including wine are provided for guests taking dinner.
Wherever possible, the ingredients used in the cooking at Kinkell House are locally sourced, including the free range eggs from the farm's own hens.
Location
Kinkell House is situated just off the A917, St Andrews to Crail road and is just under two miles east of St Andrews.
The drive is located in the first line of trees on the left hand side of the road, after leaving St Andrews.
Leisure
Energetic guests can walk all the way along the coast to St Andrews or Crail, or even drive some off road vehicles at the 4X4 and quad bike track at Kinkell Farm.
The course opened in March 2002, its object to provide the customer with the maximum enjoyment, demonstrating the capabilities of the vehicles and testing the skill of the drivers and riders.
This activity is great fun for novices and experienced users alike, with Land Rovers and quad bikes to suit all ages - from 6 to 106!
The many attractions of St Andrews and the surrounding area, including golf courses, historic buildings, scenic villages, the sea and spectacular beaches, are within easy reach.
