Craiglinnhe Guest House is a charming late-Victorian villa situated close to the shores of Loch Linnhe, near Ballachulish in Argyll.
The mountain ranges at Glencoe are on the doorstep of the accommodation, while the Nevis Range at Fort William [to the North] and the ferry port of Oban [to the south] are within easy reach.
Craiglinnhe has been graded as a 4 Star Guest House by both the AA and Visit Scotland.

Craiglinnhe House was built in 1885 from local Kentallen granite, is set in attractive gardens overlooking the loch and surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.
There is a comfortable sitting room where guests are welcome to read the many books and magazines, enjoy a drink or simply admire the view.
The relaxed atmosphere, together with good food and wine, offer you the perfect opportunity to unwind, whilst those feeling more energetic can enjoy a wide range of leisure activities in the area.

Accommodation
The bedrooms are all of a different size and shape - befitting the age, style and character of the house.
With either a double or twin beds, they have full en-suite facilities (shower, toilet and wash basin).
All bedrooms are well equipped and have:

- Tea and coffee making facilities
All bedrooms are on the first floor of the house and most enjoy magnificent loch and mountain views.

Food and Drink
Meals are served in the attractive dining room. In addition to a traditional Scottish breakfast, lighter alternatives are also available.
Dinner is optional and consists of a three-course set menu which changes daily. To complement the food Craiglinnhe offers a selection of wines, beers, malt whiskies, liqueurs and soft drinks.
Packed or picnic lunches can be prepared for guests.
Location
Craiglinnhe is some 3 miles outside Ballachulish village and 1 mile from the Ballachulish Bridge on the A828 [the Oban road, which is also signposted as the Argyll Coastal Route].
The nearest railway station is at Fort William. CityLink coaches also run at regular times between Edinburgh, Glasgow and Fort William.

With Glencoe, Fort William and Oban all nearby, Craiglinnhe is the ideal base for touring the Western Highlands. At any time of year the area is a paradise for walkers and climbers.

Prices
Bed and Breakfast:
£60.00 to £85.00 per room per night [depending upon the type of room, time of year, and length of stay].
For stays of 3 nights or more, discounts apply. Restrictions may apply for one night stays during peak periods.
Single occupancy is available at 75% of the standard double occupancy room rate.
Three course set dinner £20 per person.
Children of 13 years and over are welcome but must occupy a room of their own at the adult rate.
