This Highland Inn has served the traveller for over a hundred years and bids you 'Ceud Mile Failte' - a hundred thousand welcomes.

The Cluanie Inn is half way between Loch Ness and the Isle of Skye, 1 hour away from Inverness airport [Dalcross].

Lying between Glen Shiel and Glen Moriston, this Scottish glen has seen history in the making in the turbulent years of the Jacobite risings.

All bedrooms are well equipped and have:

Most rooms have private en-suite facilities.

Bedrooms vary in size - from doubles, twins and singles, to family rooms. The 'Club House' offers additional accommodation.

The video players are provided because the television signal is blocked off by the height of the surrounding mountains!

Guests can bring their own films, or choose from the hotel video library.

There is a suite with four-poster bed and en-suite jacuzzi bath, and another suite with its own private Nordic Sauna and Jacuzzi bath en-suite.

Meals are served throughout the day at the Cluanie Inn, from a full Scottish breakfast to an evening meal accompanied by your choice of wine.

At the Inn's bar there is a wide choice of drinks to choose from, including a comprehensive malt whisky selection.

Situated on the A87 road to Kyle of Lochalsh, the Cluanie Inn sits right next to Loch Cluanie.

The A87 is one of the main routes to the Isle of Skye some 40 miles to the west.

The other direction takes you to Invergarry and on to Fort William or to Loch Ness, just 20 miles away.

Climb the mountains or walk the glens - lying at 800 feet the Inn offers easy access to the surrounding mountains, including many 'Munros' [mountains exceeding 3,000 feet in height].

By arrangement a vehicle is available to drop off or pick up guests who wish to commence or finish their walk, or climb, from a point further along the road to the Isles. A charge of £8.00 is made for this service, which must be pre-booked.

There are restrictions, for safety reasons, on hill walking during the stalking season, but your hosts will liaise with the neighbours to ensure the enjoyment of walkers and stalkers alike.

A family room is available, with double and single bed, or double and two single beds.

The family room is £52.50 for each of first 2 guests and £25.00 for each extra guest.
