Ashbank Guest House

A Scottish welcome awaits at Ashbank Guest House, which is surrounded by pleasant and private gardens on all sides.

The detached stone house is approximately 100 years old and situated on the east side of Falkirk.

There is ample off street parking at the guest house and beautiful views over the Ochill Hills and countryside, made famous in the film 'Braveheart'.

The bedrooms at Ashbank Guest House are all well equipped, with:

• Hairdryer
• Tea and coffee making facilities

All rooms have either en-suite facilities or a private bathroom with shower.

A feature of the house is the period dining room with a marble fireplace, which was retrieved from a castle on the west coast of Scotland.

Breakfast is served each morning and dinner is available by prior arrangement.

There is a good range of restaurants and take-aways nearby.

Falkirk is situated in the Forth Valley, surrounded on the north side by the Ochill Hills. By car, Falkirk town centre is about 10 minutes from Ashbank.

Polmont Station is on the main railway line between Edinburgh and Glasgow. It takes about 3 minutes to drive to the guest house from the station, or about 12 minutes to walk.

Lifts can be arranged to or from the airport, bus and rail stations in the Guest House's people carrier.

Falkirk and the surrounding area have many attractions for visitors. Callendar House is situated close to the town centre, on the left hand side of the road before the Callendar Shopping Centre.

Used as a touring base, it is possible to be in the heart of Scottish loch and mountain scenery, in under an hour.
