This family run guest house is situated at the quiet end of the main street in Aviemore, in the heart of the Spey Valley.
A real Highland welcome is extended to guests, with the aim of making everybody feel at home.
The informal and comfortable surroundings include a spacious guest lounge with a colour television.
The storage room and drying facilities for clothes may come in handy if the weather is bad or if you are here for the Skiing in the Cairngorms.
This peaceful house is also the perfect place for enjoying a holiday at a more leisurely pace.
Accommodation
All bedrooms are well equipped, with:

The bedrooms all have private en-suite facilities.
Half of the rooms are located in the Annexe building at the side of the main house.
These rooms are popular with young and old alike, having freedom of access at night without the worry of disturbing other guests, and also being on the ground floor.

Food and Drink
A full Highland breakfast is served each morning in the Breakfast Room - a light and airy conservatory with dressers packed with a selection of conserves, cereals and condiments.
For other meals, there is a choice of the many bars and restaurants Aviemore has to offer.
There is a wide range of menus available in the locality, to suit all tastes and budgets.
Location
Ravenscraig Guest House is about 5 minutes walk from Aviemore railway station. Mainline services from Edinburgh to Inverness stop at this station.
The A9 road to Inverness passes through Aviemore and there is ample off street parking for vehicles at Ravenscraig.
The ski bus runs regularly during the winter season, from outside the house to the Cairngorm Mountain ski area.
The house is also about 10 minutes walk from the main Aviemore centre, where there are many amenities and leisure activities.
Leisure
Aviemore, in the heart of the Spey Valley, is the ideal location for a holiday and there is a range of local entertainments.
There are also many leisure activities available including squash, cycling [bikes can be hired] and golfing - with 6 courses within a 15 mile radius, this is truly a golfer's paradise.

- Fishing for salmon, sea trout and brown trout on the famous River Spey available locally
- 6 riding centres providing half day and all day pony trekking - through unforgettable scenery
- For walking and bird watching, The Cairngorms and surrounding areas can provide interesting, varied walks along with a wide variety of birds and wildlife to be seen.
- Available watersports include windsurfing, sailing and canoeing - with equipment hire and instruction on Loch Insh
Follow the castle trail or the whisky trail, enjoy farm tours or visits to a local trout farm, the Heather Centre, the wildlife park, Highland Folk Museum, steam railway and Landmark Centre.
