This traditional Scottish country house offers guests homely comforts and an ideal base from which to explore one of the most beautiful parts of the Highlands.
With its own magnificent and extensive gardens, the 19th century house has an outstanding location by the lochside.
There are panoramic views over Onich Bay and down Loch Linnhe, towards the Isle of Mull.
Camus House is close to many places of historical interest, with Glencoe, Ben Nevis and many other renowned beauty spots nearby.
The large reception hall has antique pine panelling and an impressive stairway, with comfortable sofas and a welcoming atmosphere.
The charming hallway is an ideal room in which to meet and plan the day's excursions - in fact, it is called 'The Meeting Place' by the guests who return each year.
Accommodation
Bedrooms are all individually decorated and furnished to blend in with the ambience of this fine Victorian home.
Most rooms have private en-suite facilities and all have:

Food and Drink
Each morning a choice of a continental or a hearty grilled breakfast is served.
The Dining Room boasts a fine old Italian fireplace and is tastefully decorated, with large windows overlooking Loch Linnhe.
Relax and enjoy a quiet drink in the spacious lounge or conservatory - which has a superb outlook over Onich Bay.
In the evenings, the conservatory is one of the best places to experience the beautiful sunsets, over the breathtaking scenery of the Morven Mountains and towards the Isle of Mull.
Location
Camus House is situated by the water's edge in Onich, midway between Ben Nevis and Glencoe.
The main roads to Onich are the A82 - which runs all the way from Glasgow [90 miles] - and the M9/A84 from Edinburgh [120 miles].
Fort William is about 10 miles away to the north, whilst 35 miles to the south lies Oban.
Leisure
Within easy reach for a day trip are the Isles of Skye and Mull, the Morven Peninsula and Loch Ness.
Ramblers and walkers will find a variety of hikes and climbs, with terrain ranging from low level glens to challenging mountains.
Alternatively, why not simply relax and enjoy the views from the Camus House gardens?
In the winter, skiing and snowboarding is possible at the Nevis Range and at Glencoe, both nearby.

Running from Fort William to Mallaig, 'The Jacobite' Steam Train follows the famous Road to the Isles, combining the romance and nostalgia of the steam age with beautiful scenery.
