Arrandale Guest House

This Victorian villa was built over 100 years ago and retains some lovely features from that era.

Now a comfortable guest house, it is conveniently located for most of Edinburgh's major attractions, just over a mile from the city centre.

There are facilities available for sending and receiving faxes or e-mail and guests can also have access to the internet.

Five bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms [with shower] and one room has a private bathroom [with bath and shower].

One of the double bedrooms also has a king size bed.

Bedrooms are well equipped and have:

• Colour television with remote control
• Hairdryer
• Tea and coffee making facilities

There are some ground floor bedrooms available and some have a view over the garden.

Guests start the day by taking breakfast in the bright, sunny and airy dining room - or if they prefer, breakfast in bed!

Every morning the menu includes both cooked and cold options, accompanied by fruit juice and tea or coffee.

There are various take-away outlets, restaurants, hotel bars and cafés in the locality.

Mayfield Gardens is approximately a mile from Edinburgh's centre and the main railway station.

Arrandale Guest House is ideally located on the A701 and buses pass by the door regularly [5-10 minute journey time to Princes Street].

Edinburgh Airport is 8 miles away.

There is secure accommodation for up to two pedal bicycles at the guest house. In the immediate neighbourhood there are:

• Local shops and newsagents
• Banks, cash points and post office
• Arthur's Seat and lochs
• Cinema, theatre and swimming pool
• Royal Observatory

All major attractions such as the Castle, Holyrood Palace, Dynamic Earth and Royal Yacht Brittannia are within easy travelling distance of Arrandale Guest House.

Children:
0 to 2 years - no charge.
3 to 12 years - half price when sharing with adults.

The guest house is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

This is a totally non smoking guest house.
