The Priory Lodge offers four star guest house accommodation in South Queensferry, overlooking the Firth of Forth and the Forth Bridge.

Situated just off the High Street, the guest house is ideally located for South Queensferry's shops and restaurants.

It is convenient for the main A90 road that crosses the Firth of Forth and Edinburgh is just 10 miles, or a 12 minute train journey, away.

Priory Lodge is decorated and furnished to a high standard to ensure that guests have a comfortable and relaxing stay.

There are five bedrooms at the guest house, all of which have en-suite facilities and free wireless internet access.

Breakfast at the guest house is cooked to order from a varied menu and served in the relaxed Bannockburn themed Breakfast Room.

From Edinburgh: Follow A90 and signs for Forth Road Bridge until first turn off for South Queensferry. Follow road under the Rail Bridge and continue along the High Street. At the road end, turn left up the hill [The Loan]. Priory Lodge is on the left hand side [opposite Scotmid foodstore].

From the South: Follow the signs for the Forth Road Brigde until approaching Queensferry. Exit left ramp before bridge approach. At roundabout take 3rd exit and follow signs for Queensferry/Historic Town and at next roundabout take 1st exit [B907] and follow road down the hill. Priory Lodge is on your right hand side opposite a large store [Scotmid].

From North: After crossing the Forth Road Bridge keep to the left hand lane and follow signs for Queensferry. At first roundabout turn 1st left. At second roundabout turn 1st left again. Follow the B907 down the hill. Priory Lodge is on your right hand side [opposite Scotmid foodstore].

Priory Lodge is also easy to access via public transport.

Guest House owners Calmyn and George are always more than happy to offer information on the many local attractions that surround South Queensferry.

With its cobbled streets, picturesque location and variety of quaint pubs, restaurants and galleries, South Queensferry itself is full of things to do.

There is even a nightly ghost walk for the more daring!

Port Edgar Marina offers a variety of sea water sports and Forth tours, and Knockhill Racing Circuit and the Ratho Adventure Centre are less than 20 minutes away.

For keen golfers, there are also many golf courses in the area, including the famous St Andrews and others around Fife and Lothian.

Dundas Castle, Hopetoun House and Dalmeny House are all a short drive away, but one of the guest house's most popular nearby attraction is, of course, Edinburgh.

Edinburgh is a short bus or train ride away from Priory Lodge Guest House and has enough history, points of cultural interest and entertainment to enthrall any visitor.
