The Archiestown Hotel has been the focal point of the historic and attractive village for over 200 years.

The best local meat and game available is used in the preparation of dishes.
The superb fish, lobsters, scallops, langoustines and other shellfish are complemented by herbs and fruits from the garden, homemade bread, pasta, puddings and ice cream.
Picnics and Packed Lunches can be tailored to individual requirements and range from the simple sandwich to platters of Cold Meats, Pies, Shellfish, Salads, Soups and more...
Numerous distilleries are close to the hotel and these are well represented in the small but well stocked bar. The well balanced wine list includes some superb clarets and vintage ports.
Location
Archiestown is easy to find by road - full directions are on the hotel's web site [link at top of this page].
A regular train service is available to either Elgin or Keith station, a short taxi journey away. Transport can be arranged for guests if required.
Inverness and Aberdeen airports are within easy reach, with regular flights throughout the year.
Leisure
The hotel is but a cast away from some of the finest salmon fishing pools on the River Spey and there is excellent stalking and shooting close by.
At least 22 golf courses are within an hour's drive, ranging from the rurally challenging to superb 18 hole courses.
There is wonderful walking and climbing in the area - discover the renowned Speyside Way, Ben Rinnes, the Cairngorms and the many coastal walks along the Moray Firth.
Castles and places of historic interest abound - including Ballindalloch, Cawdor, Brodie, Pluscarden Abbey and Elgin Cathedral.
Superb shopping is on offer at Johnston's of Elgin, Baxters, Walkers, Brodie Countryfare, Speyside Cooperage, many Distillery Centres and of course, the House of Bruar is en-route from the South.
