This high quality timeshare resort consists of a small group of holiday homes, within easy walking distance of the Aviemore shops and railway station.
On this web site there are details of timeshare weeks at Scandinavian Village, each week privately owned and available to rent directly from the timeshare owner.
Weeks run from Saturday to Saturday, although in some cases a shorter let may be possible.
The reception desk at Scandinavian Village is open 7 days per week and is able to advise you on the many leisure activities available in the area, including:

- Boat trips and coach tours [for example, at Loch Ness]

Aviemore Mountain Resort is a lovely destination for a holiday and the village reception also offers a selection of tourist brochures and videos for hire.
Accommodation
This holiday home is very well equipped, with high quality fittings and appliances, including traditional hand-crafted furnishings.
The ground floor of the villa features:
- Entrance hall with drying cupboard, separate toilet and wash basin
- Open plan sitting and dining room
- Well equipped kitchen
The upper floor has 2 bedrooms [accommodation for up to 6 people] and a bathroom with bath, separate shower, toilet and wash basin.
The lounge / dining area is a spacious open plan room with a sofa and chairs, opening out onto a small private patio with barbecue, table and chairs.
The rental property is equipped with:

Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds, a wardrobe and drawer unit.

Food and Drink
The villa's kitchen has everything you need for comfortable and convenient self-catering holiday, including an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and all utensils and crockery.
Scandinavian Holiday Village is a few minutes walk from the centre of Aviemore, where there is a good range of shops and an excellent choice of dining options.
A Tesco supermarket [open 7 days per week] provides a range of food and drink, making self-catering a very easy option.
There is a wide range of evening entertainment provided by the local hotels, bars and pubs. However, the village is not affected by noisy activities and is a haven for those who want peace and quiet.
Location
Aviemore is located just off the main A9 trunk route, in-between Perth and Inverness.
Aviemore train station is only a few minutes from the village and has direct Inter-City rail links with London, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness.
Inverness Airport is a 40 minute drive away and there are regular scheduled flights from London, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The use of a car greatly enhances the enjoyment of the Scottish Highlands and car hire is readily available, if required.
