This family-run business is superbly situated on a fine old 'home farm' beside the River Beauly, in beautiful Strathglass.

The rental properties have been carefully refurbished and thoughtfully equipped for self-catering holidays in the Scottish Highlands.

The properties are surrounded by the natural beauty which provides a spectacular back-drop for many leisure activities.

These include playing golf on the farm's own challenging 9 hole parkland course.

Cuil Na Caillich is a secluded hillside cottage and accommodates up to 5 people plus a cot, with:

• Lounge
• Fully fitted kitchen with dining area
• 3 bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin, 1 single
• Shower/WC

Overlooking the glen, this 19th Century cottage has a 3 star grading from the STB and enjoys a lovely south facing aspect.

The Coach House is a spacious and very comfortable cottage, occupying the west wing of the Courtyard.

With 4 stars from the STB, it accommodates up to 6 people, plus a cot.

The Coach House has:

• Lounge
• Fully fitted kitchen with dining area
• Bathroom with over-bath shower, bidet and toilet

On the first floor are 3 bedrooms - 1 double and 2 twins - plus a toilet.

Old Dairy and Old Stable are spacious and comfortably furnished courtyard cottages with a 3 star STB grading.

They each accommodate up to 4 people plus a cot, and include:

• Lounge/dining room with fully fitted kitchen area
• 2 bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin
• Shower and toilet

Pond View is an attractively furnished first floor courtyard cottage, accessed by external stone steps.

It accommodates up to 6 people plus a cot, and includes:

• Lounge with dining area
• Fully fitted kitchen
• 3 bedrooms - 1 double, 2 twins
• Bathroom with over bath shower and toilet

All houses are fully double glazed and equipped to a high standard for comfort and warmth. They all have partial night storage heating on 'Total control', electric convectors and fires.

The kitchens are modern with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle and iron. A laundry room is available with automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a games room with table tennis and a mini-snooker table.

Situated just 17 miles [20 minutes] from the city of Inverness [Highland capital], Aigas is ideally located for exploring the north, east and west coasts.

It is approached via the A831, 5 miles from Beauly and 12 miles from Cannich.

Car hire can be arranged with a delivery and collection service available at Inverness Dalcross Airport [27 miles] or Inverness Railway Station [17 miles].

Aigas is the perfect base from which to tour the Highland beauty spots and sites of historic interest, or simply to relax and absorb the tranquillity of this beautiful and unspoilt glen.

Lochs and fine forests with extensive hill and mountain walks are a feature of the Strathglass area, which boasts an abundance of rare bird, animal and plant life to fascinate all lovers of the countryside.

Golf:
The properties have their own challenging and attractive 9 hole course, overlooking the River Beauly - and guests can take advantage of special rates on normal green fees. Within a radius of 40 miles, another 25 courses can be enjoyed, including Royal Dornoch and Nairn.

Outdoor Activities:
Walking, cycling, watersports, mountaineering, fishing, pony trekking and many other pursuits are readily available.

Visitor Attractions and Day Trips:
The numerous local facilities include the modern Inverness Aquadome [with flumes and wave pool], craft shops, castles, distilleries, dolphin cruises and many more. Various day tours by car include Loch Ness, Skye, Aviemore and local Glens.

£225.00 to £555.00 per week - Coach House and Cuil-Na-Caillich.
£195.00 to £445.00 per week - Pond View, Old Dairy and Old Stable.

All weekly stays on Saturday to Saturday basis with access from 16:00 on day of arrival.
Guests planning to arrive later than 17:00 please call to give your intended arrival time.
The property must be vacated by 10:00 on your date of departure.

Weekends and Short Breaks can be arranged in off peak times. During High Season weekends and short breaks can only be arranged at short notice.

Excellent 'last minute' rates are available and guests can play Aigas Vacation Rentals's own challenging 9 hole golf course at a reduced rate.

Electricity is charged according to amount used.

Duvets and bed linen supplied, cots provided free of charge but guests must bring bedding.
Sorry no pets - only guide dogs are permitted.
