This self catering accommodaion is located within the Druimneil Estate on the outskirts of the village of Port Appin, on the beautiful West Coast of Scotland.
The secluded grounds of the estate are safe for children and pets to enjoy and the surrounding area has plenty of varied activities to keep everyone happy.
Accommodation
The Coach House
A traditional, stone-built house converted to provide comfortable family accommodation for up to six people.
The Coach House is fully centrally heated and the main rooms are all carpeted.
The large sitting room has an open fire (with firewood provided), comfortable furniture and TV.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms - Bedroom 1 has a double bed, Bedroom 2 has twin beds and Bedroom 3 has twin beds. In addition, there is a cot (and a high chair) available.
There are two bathrooms in the holiday cottage, with heated towel rail and overhead heater.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a gas Raeburn and has a dining area at one end. There is also a downstairs cloakroom leading off the spacious entrance hall with large cupboards.
Food and Drink
There is a small but well equipped shop in the village which is open each day including Sunday.
Various services available locally include a mobile bank, a butcher and a fish dealer. There is also the possibility of local fresh prawns.
Home baking, packed lunches and meals can be provided from Druimneil House. Provisions such as grocery and beverages can be arranged for your arrival [prior notice required].
There is a good variety of pubs and restaurants around the area, catering for all tastes and pockets. The small local pub in the village nearby is located by the jetty to Lismore.
Location
The village of Port Appin is approximately two and a half miles off the main Oban to Fort William Road [A82], along a single track road terminating at the ferry point to Lismore.
The Coach House and Cottage are part of the Druimneil Estate on the outskirts of the village.
Leisure
There are many and varied activities around Port Appin, including the Sea Life Centre where all kinds of marine life, including sharks, can be viewed at close quarters.
Sailing, wind surfing, water skiing and boat hire are all available nearby, and Druimneil House's boat, 'Tiddely-Wee', is available for fishing or viewing the local seal colony.
Wildlife is abundant in the area and deer, otters and rare birds of prey can often be seen when taking walks or longer excursions by ferry to the many Western Isles.
Oban is the main ferry port for trips to Mull and Iona, with its famous cathedral and history.
Prices
The Coach House Cottage is available at a cost of between £400.00 and £450.00 throughout the year.
Other Information
Smoking is not allowed in The Cottage and The Coach House. 
Bed linen and towels are provided.
Well behaved pets are welcome.
