Apron Hill House offers self-catering accomodation for four people in a traditional crofter's cottage in Gairloch.

The cottage is set in an acre of private grounds, with views of Gairloch, and the Torridon Hills.

This area of Scotland is a wildlife enthusiasts paradise, with an abundance of dolphins, porpoises, seals, whales and sea birds.

The North West Coast of Scotland is also known for its unforgettable sunsets and sandy beaches, many of which are within easy reach of Apron Hill House.

Accommodation

Accommodation at Apron Hill House is offered in two bedrooms.

There is also a kitchen/dining room, a living room with colour television and a bathroom with electric shower.

The cottage is fully equipped with electrical appliances and off peak storage heating.

Food and Drink

Nearby Gairloch has a number of shops, including a general store and butcher.

Gairloch also has a number of cafes, restaurants and take-aways.

For a truly fresh taste of Scotland, local fish and shellfish are available from the village fish shop.

Gairloch is situated in Wester Ross, west of Loch Maree on the west coast of Scotland.

The accommodation is easily accessible via the A832 road - detailed directions will gladly be provided on request.

Leisure

Gairloch offers a number of attractions such as Gairloch Heritage Museum, a fascinating museum of local life situated in a complex of old farm buildings.

Visitors can also take sea life tours and sea fishing trips out of the harbour, where there is also a small marine life centre.

For keen walkers, there is a selection of trails which pass through the Flowerdale Forest and waterfalls, or near the Rua Reidh lighthouse [approximately 12 miles from Gairloch], where rock climbing courses are available.

For the more adventurous, rock climbing, abseiling, pony trekking and watersports are all available in the surrounding area.

£90.00 to £120.00 per week in low season.
£250.00 to £350.00 per week in high season.

Car parking is available - 70 yards from cottage [access via steep hill].
