Badachro Bay Apartments

Badachro is a picturesque old fishing community in Ross-shire, on the north west coast of Scotland, in a area full of traditional West Highland character.

These holiday rental properties are set in half an acre of woodland overlooking the village of Gairloch, and Gairloch Bay in Wester Ross.

Part of a modern, well appointed villa, Rona is a ground floor flat and Canna is an upper floor apartment, each with its own private entrance.

Canna can accommodate up to four people - it has two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin.

Rona can accommodate up to six people - it has three bedrooms and a bathroom with bath [no shower], toilet and wash basin.

The kitchen / dining room in each flat has a microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, washing machine and tumble dryer.

In both Canna and Rona, guests can relax in the living room, watching television or reading a book. In Rona there is a cosy open fire.

Within a short walk, the village amenities include a friendly local Inn on the waterfront, which serves bar meals.

A short drive away, the small town of Gairloch has a wider selection of restaurants and shops.

Badachro village is situated in a sheltered bay off the sea loch of Gairloch - the town by the same name is six miles away by road.

Directions by road:
Take the A832 [from the east] or the A890 [from the south] to Achnasheen, then the A832 to Kinlochewe. Travel through Talladale, past Kerrysdale and turn left onto the road for Red Point - two miles further on, you will arrive in the village of Badachro.

This secluded location is inhabited by just a few local craftspeople and fishermen. Visitors come here for a relaxing break amidst wonderful scenery - the area is ideal for walking, hiking, cycling and bird watching.

Nearby Gairloch offers a range of attractions and activities for both wet and dry weather including a heritage museum, a nine hole golf course, watersports, sea fishing, craft shops and a swimming pool.
