The property is on Duncrub Park, in a very peaceful and scenic part of central Scotland.

The ground floor features an open plan kitchen/dining and sitting room with a narrow stone spiral staircase leading upstairs.

The kitchen has a ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge, all housed within high quality fitted units.

The locally-made wrought iron table and chairs add to the unique setting of this special apartment.

In the seating area there is a comfortable sofa and armchair, colour television, video, mini hi-fi, electric fire and pay phone.

This is a surprisingly spacious area, further enhanced by the skillful use of beautiful fabrics which drape the magnificent entrance door and windows.

On the upper floor the bedroom features a large double bed with panelled headboard and decorative drapes above, along with a corner wardrobe unit with luggage space above.

The ceiling mural is a particularly fine example of cherubs in flight, painted by a local artist.

The en-suite bathroom has a pretty clover leaf window, tiled floor, bath with shower head, heated towel rail and an electric shaver point.

In-between The Tower House and the adjacent Chapel House is the central part of the building offering facilities shared by both properties.

As well as an automatic washing machine and dryer, the facilities include an indoor games area - ideal for a game of badminton or table tennis.

The historic village of Dunning is nearby, with its friendly shops and welcoming inns - there is a superb choice of local places to eat.

Duncrub Park has a tranquil location in the beautiful Strathearn valley, with Craig Rossie in the background.

It takes about an hour to drive here from the airports of Edinburgh and Glasgow [to the south via the A9 road], or from St Andrews [to the east].

Glorious Perthshire is a golfer's paradise! There is a 9-hole course in Dunning village, an 18-hole course two miles away and the internationally famous Gleneagles Hotel Golf Courses [now open for non-resident bookings] are less than 10 minutes drive away.

Both Auchterarder and Perth are close by, each offering a variety of shopping, restaurants, entertainment and places of historical interest.

Local attractions include distilleries, gardens, castles, ancestry research, ancient monuments and the Highland Games visit this area. Shop for cashmeres, antiques, pottery, local crafts ... or just relax in comfort.

Possible day trips from The Tower House include Stirling and the Trossachs, Royal Deeside, Dundee, Fife and its fishing villages, Inverness and Glencoe.
