Offering excellent self-catering accommodation in Perthshire, The Chapel House is nine miles west of Perth and is ideal for up to four adults.

The property provides a high standard of comfort [Scottish Tourist Board 4 Star Rating] and is a little bit different from other holiday cottages in Scotland.

This is an excellent location in-between Stirling and Perth, just off the A9 road, close to Gleneagles and Auchterarder.

The Chapel House is full of character and unique features, next door to the original chapel and Tower House [also available for holiday lets] in the picturesque setting of Duncrub Park.

Entry to the house is in the old part of the Chapel, through a hallway, which leads to a fully fitted galley-style kitchen with a stained glass window.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, together with most other standard kitchen appliances.

The dining room, featuring some original tiling, is wood panelled on one side.

Patio doors open onto a small paved area with outside seating and a barbecue.

In the modern part of the building, the spacious sitting room has a colour television, video, hi-fi, radio, books, tourist information leaflets and board games.

The ground floor bedroom has twin beds and a private bathroom [with bath and shower].

A staircase leads to an upper bedroom, with a double bed and a further bathroom [with bath and shower].

The Chapel House has electric heating, with good fitted wardrobes and cupboards throughout. There is also a pay phone.

In-between The Chapel House and the adjacent Tower House is the central part of the building offering facilities shared by both properties - including an indoor games area ideal for a game of badminton or table tennis.

The historic village of Dunning is nearby, with its friendly shops and welcoming inns - there is a superb choice of local places to eat.

Duncrub Park has a tranquil location in the beautiful Strathearn valley, with Craig Rossie in the background.

It takes about an hour to drive here from the airports of Edinburgh and Glasgow [to the south via the A9 road], or from St Andrews [to the east].

Glorious Perthshire is a golfer's paradise! There is a 9-hole course in Dunning village, an 18-hole course two miles away and the internationally famous Gleneagles Hotel Golf Courses [now open for non-resident bookings] are less than 10 minutes drive away.

Both Auchterarder and Perth are close by, each offering a variety of shopping, restaurants, entertainment and places of historical interest.

Local attractions include distilleries, gardens, castles, ancestry research, ancient monuments and the Highland Games visit this area. Shop for cashmeres, antiques, pottery, local crafts ... or just relax in comfort.

Possible day trips from The Tower House include Stirling and the Trossachs, Royal Deeside, Dundee, Fife and its fishing villages, Inverness and Glencoe.
