Dornie Lodges are in the picturesque village of Dornie, situated at the joining together of Loch Duich, Loch Alsh, and Loch Long.
Dornie village centre is only about 10 minutes walk along the shore of Loch Long.

Sleeps 8. Lochside Lodge is a detached house with views over Loch Long.
- Bedroom 1 - double with views over the loch.
- Bedroom 2 - double/twin with bathroom.
- Bedroom 3 - double/twin [on first floor].
- Bedroom 4 - double/twin [on first floor] with gallery overlooking the lounge.
Larchwood Lodge
Sleeps 6. Larchwood Lodge is a purpose built detached house with extensive views towards Loch Alsh and Skye.
- Bedroom 1 - double.
- Bedroom 2 - double/twin [on first floor].
- Bedroom 3 - double/twin [on first floor].
Burnside Lodge
Sleeps 8. Burnside Lodge is a detached house close to a burn flowing into the loch.
- Bedroom 1 - double.
- Bedroom 2 - double/twin.
- Bedroom 3 - double/twin [on first floor].
- Bedroom 4 - double/twin [on first floor].
All lodges are equipped with:
- Living, dining and kitchen areas.
- Washing machine and tumble dryer.
- Large shower room.
- Oak floorboards and under floor electric heating [downstairs].
- Wall mounted electric radiators [upstairs].
- Cot [upon request].
Food and Drink
There are 3 pubs within walking distance all serving excellent food:
- Dornie Hotel [Dornie Village].
- Clachan Bar [Dornie Village].
- Loch Duich Hotel - Over the bridge and on the right - 5 mins walk from Dornie village.
Real ale from the Isle of Skye Brewery is on tap at the Clachan Bar and the Loch Duich Hotel.
Location
By Road:
Dornie Village lies on the shore of Loch Long just off the main A87 road leading to Kyle of Lochalsh and Skye. The village is clearly signposted from the A87 just opposite Eilean Donan Castle.
By Rail:
Take the train to Kyle of Lochalsh. Dornie is about a 15 minute taxi ride from Kyle.
Leisure
The surrounding loch and mountain scenery is absolutely superb, and there is easy access to all grades of walking and climbing.
Easy lochside and riverside walks start right on the doorstep, and a wealth of more challenging hillwalking is available within a few miles, with the Five Sisters of Kintail and Glenshiel to the South, the Torridon Range in the North, and the Cuillin of Skye to the West.
Places to Visit
Eilean Donan Castle - Dornie's most famous landmark is the world-renowned Eilean Donan Castle. The castle is only a few minutes walk from the village centre.
Iron Age Brochs at Glenelg - Brochs are prehistoric fortified tower dwellings and there are 3 in a reasonable state of repair at Glenelg.
Isle of Skye - from Easter to October cross over to Skye on the ferry from Glenelg to Kylerhea, or take the road bridge across from Kyle of Lochalsh at any time of year.
You can go horse riding locally, and visit Lochalsh Woodland Garden at Balmacara. There are interesting glass-bottom boat trips from Kyle of Lochalsh and seal trips at Plockton, each only a few minutes' drive away.
