This accommodation is on Scotland's undiscovered 'flow country' north coast, near The Castle of Mey and Dunnet Head - an ideal location for a Caithness Holiday Cottage.

Coasters Holiday Cottage has its own foreshore and private grounds and provides an elegant coastal retreat - in all seasons of the year.

Only a few steps from the rolling waves of the sea on the Pentland Firth coast, the cottage and grounds have uninterrupted views across the North Atlantic Ocean.

This location is very easy to get to - for example, from Inverness it is only a 2½ hour scenic coastal drive away.

Coasters Holiday Cottage can provide accommodation for 2 to 3 guests.

Cottage facilities and features include:

The internal accommodation is beautifully furnished and most rooms have a view of the sea.

There is a colour television, DVD player, CD player and radio, together with a selection of books, magazines and DVDs and internet facilities.

Ideal for a relaxing romantic break away, or a family holiday in the Northern Highlands, the cottage is equipped with every modern convenience.

Guests can enjoy a glass of complimentary wine - ideal for watching the sun set over the ocean. Coffee and tea are also provided in the kitchen.

The coastal hamlet of Scarfskerry is about two miles from Mey, within sight of The Orkney Islands. Mey [and the famous Castle of Mey] is about 15 miles east of Thurso and six miles west of John O'Groats via the A836 road.

The Orkney Islands are eight miles due north of Coasters Holiday Cottage - and this location therefore has an eight mile panoramamic ocean view!

Caithness and the far north of Scotland is an area of extensive sea bird populations and it is an ideal holiday destination for nature lovers and ornithologists.

Frequent sightings of visiting seals, dolphins and whales may be enjoyed from the garden of Coasters Holiday Cottage, often from the cottage windows.

Close to the most northerly point of the British mainland, the gardens of Coasters Cottage dip into the waters of the Pentland Firth.

The last great Flow-Country in Europe, Caithness awaits exploration - as do its scenic coasts, glens, town and villages.

£350.00 to £595.00 per week, normally from Saturday to Saturday.
Holiday cottage rates include the first £20.00 of heating costs.
All bed linen, towels and complimentary toiletries are provided.

£150.00 deposit payable at the time of booking - balance normally due 8 weeks before date of arrival.

Coasters Holiday Cottage offers accommodation for non smokers only.

Dogs and other pets can not be accepted at Coasters Holiday Cottage.
