General Details
A traditional detached cottage in a private and quiet location, Minch View overlooks the sea and the islands off the north west coast of Scotland.
The Isles of Skye, Harris and Lewis can be seen from the cottage, which is at Peterburn, near Gairloch in Wester Ross. Whilst staying here, look out for whales, basking sharks, dolphins, otters and seals along the coastline.
The nearby village of Melvaig has a bar/restaurant, The Melvaig Inn. The Inn is close to the beach, where there is also a slipway for launching boats.
The cottage provides accommodation for up to four people, in two bedrooms. A cot for a baby is available on request.
Only a short distance away, you can explore in The Beinn Eighe Reserve and the Torridon Mountains. Here you will find a number of varied walking trails and routes and stunning mountain scenery.
With no street light pollution at night, this is a great place for star gazing. The starry sky is a real feature of a holiday in this part of Scotland.
