General Details
The Coach House offers accommodation in a selection of studio, and one and two bedroom apartments at the edge of Loch Awe.
All apartments are equipped and furnished to provide an excellent standard of accommodation convenient for exploring the area surrounding Loch Awe.
Guests have access to the Portsonachan Hotel's land for free loch fishing, and there are many other leisure activities and attractions in the area surrounding the apartments.
All apartments are available for weekly rentals, and the studio and one bedroom apartments are available for one-night stays and short breaks - please see 'Prices' section for details.
Accommodation
Accommodation is offered in two apartments with two bedrooms, six one-bedroom apartments and four studio apartments.
All apartments have a bathroom with bath and integral shower, a fully-fitted kitchen and a lounge area.
Ness, one of the two-bedroom apartments, has two bathrooms and is on one level for easier access.
Rannoch is also single-level for easier access and offers apartment accommodation with one bedroom.
The lounges are equipped with:

- Music system
They are also furnished with a double sofa bed for extra sleeping room.
Food and Drink
The Coach House Apartments are fitted with all required self-catering facilities.
For guests wishing to dine out, the nearby Portsonachan Hotel offers a variety of dining options.
The 'Captain's Bar' serves a selection of Highland whiskies and other drinks, and visitors can also order bar meals.
For more substantial meals, the Cruachan Restaurant serves modern Scottish cuisine prepared from local produce.
Location
The Coach House Apartments are situated next to the Portsonachan Hotel on the southern shore of Loch Awe, conveniently located for Inveraray and Dalmally.
Driving Directions:
From Glasgow:
Follow the M74 towards Glasgow, then proceed towards the Erskine Bridge.
Cross the bridge and take the A82 road to Tarbet, then the A83 towards Inveraray.
From Inveraray, take the B840 road, which is signposted Cladich and Ford, and follow this road for approximately four miles.
From Edinburgh:
Take the M9 road towards Stirling and leave at junction 10.
Head towards Lochearnhead and continue on the A85 to Crianlarich, then Oban.
This road will take you to Dalmally.
Keep on the A85 until you see the sign for Inveraray, which will take you onto the A819 road.
Travel along this road for five miles until you come to the Cladich turnoff. Take this road and follow it for approximately four miles.
Leisure
Loch Awe and the surrounding area are known for their excellent fishing, sailing, walking and cycling opportunities.
The loch is home to a variety of fish including Salmon, Pike and Trout, and for keen golfers, the local courses at Inveraray and Dalmally are within easy reach of the apartments.
Boats can be hired from the Portsonachan Hotel for Loch Awe sailing and a variety of water sports are also available on the loch.
Inveraray Jail and Inveraray Castle are a short dive from the apartments, as are Kilmartin House and the Stone Circle just west of Kilmartin.

Weekly Rates [depending on season]:
- Two Bedroom Apartments - £350.00 to £695.00
- One Bedroom Apartments - £285.00 to £575.00
- Studio Apartments - £250.00 to £375.00
Short break and single night rates are available in one bedroom and studio apartments from £40.00 per night.
All rates include a full mid-week service and all linen and towels.
Electricity is charged at 11p per unit of consumption.
