Owned by the same company as the famous Bowmore Whisky Distillery on the Isle of Islay, these holiday cottages offer very comfortable accommodation.
All are properties are located within or beside the distillery complex, and all cottage guests are invited on a complimentary distillery tour, including sampling a 'wee dram' of whisky.
About 3,000 people live on the Isle of Islay running businesses in the farming, fishing, tourism and whisky production industries [there are no fewer than eight distilleries on the island].
Other inhabitants of Islay include unusual species of bird and wildlife, for example red deer, seals, otters, herons and many more.
Bowmore is one of Scotland's oldest whisky distilleries, but the cottage accommodation is beautifully renovated, modern, and equipped with everything required for a relaxing self catering holiday.
Accommodation
All accommodation is equipped and furnished to Four Star Visit Scotland standard.
The Old Bakery was built in 1887 and is situated close to Bowmore's tiny harbour. As the name suggests it was once a busy bakery. Today, the property offers the ultimate in luxury self-catering accommodation with one double and five twin bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities.
The fantastic dining kitchen will surely inspire the most reluctant of chefs to cook a meal! There is also a comfortable lounge and access to the beautiful Bowmore Garden, with views across Loch Indaal.
The Old Bakery is the perfect place to stay for a group of friends or families who want to appreciate the very best of Islay.
Distillery House occupies a corner plot in the centre of Bowmore, with the tiny stone-built harbour on one side of the property and the iconic Bowmore Round Church on the other. Built in 1840 and once home to the Distillery Cooper, the house provides spacious accommodation, yet it has the feel of a much-loved cosy family home.
With one double and three twin bedrooms [all with en-suite facilities] Distillery House has an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area.
Guests in this holiday cottage can enjoy a leisurely meal at the large oak dining table, then retire in a comfy chair and watch a DVD. This is a great place to stay when taking time out with friends or family.
Garden Cottage has a location that backs onto the Bowmore Garden a perfect place in which to sit and relax, gazing out across Loch Indaal. The property's front windows overlook Bowmore's tiny 'Town Square'.
Offering very comfortable accommodation, Garden Cottage has one double and one twin bedroom, both with en-suite facilities. All on one level, the property features a dining kitchen with a most beautiful view, and a lounge area with a double sofa bed.
Maltman's Cottage was built in the early 1900s for workers at the distillery. This cottage has stunning views of both the distillery and over Loch Indaal.
With three very spacious bedrooms and extremely comfortable living accommodation this holiday home is ideal for groups of friends or a family. All bedrooms have twin beds and en-suite facilities.
The cottage also has a dining kitchen, lounge and patio area with garden furniture.
Mashman's Cottage is adjacent to Maltman's Cottage, and this cosy property also offers a sense of the magic that staying in such close proximity to Islay's oldest distillery provides.
A place to retreat to with a loved one or very good friend, Mashman's Cottage has one twin bedroom and one bathroom. There is also a well equipped kitchen, lounge and patio area with garden furniture.
All properties are within easy walking distance of Bowmore Swimming Pool - Maltman's Cottage and Maltman's Cottage are next door to the swimming pool and distillery.

The Isle Of Islay is easily accessed from mainland Scotland.
By Road and Ferry
Islay can be reached by ferry from Kennacraig on the Kintyre Peninsula.
From Glasgow
Follow signs for Loch Lomond [the A82 road] and Tarbet, which is about 35 miles from Glasgow. From Tarbet, drive to Inveraray on Loch Fyne using the A83 road [approximately 22 miles]. Then travel a further 23 miles to Lochgilphead. From Lochgilphead, head south [about 13 miles] to Tarbert on Loch Fyne. The ferry port of Kennacraig is 6 miles away, still heading south on the A83. Caledonian MacBrayne operate a ferry service to Islay [journey time approximately 2 hours].
By Air
British Airways run a 35 minute scheduled flight from Glasgow Airport to the island of Islay - twice per day, Monday to Friday, and once on a Saturday.
