This self-catering accommodation is finished to a very high standard, totally renovated and fitted with new bathrooms and kitchens. Next door to each other on the first floor of an attractive Victorian terraced house, the two holiday apartments each have stunning views across the sea.
The beautiful view over the water extends as far as Millport on the island of Cumbrae and Largs on the Scottish mainland.
A sandy beach is a very short walk away, across the quiet minor road in front of the properties - children can play at the water's edge while being supervised by their parents or guardian from the bay window of the spacious lounge overlooking the sea front.
A more tranquil place would be difficult to find - although there are numerous activities and walks in the immediate area surrounding the accommodation.
Accommodation
Immaculately presented, each holiday flat is part of a terraced sandstone property in the popular residential seaside village of Kilchattan Bay, with unrestricted sea views over the bay to Cumbrae and the Ayrshire Coast beyond.

In your holiday home you can expect to find original internal features such as cornices and deep skirting boards combining with more modern practicalities such as spotlights in the ceilings, plenty of double electric sockets, contemporary floor lamps and modern furniture.
The living room has two very comfortable sofas, a bay window and a fireplace with multi-fuel stove and oak wood surround / mantelpiece. A TV and DVD Player provide home entertainments.
One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other has matching single beds (a twin room). The bathroom is fully tiled on both the walls and floor, with a bath and electric shower. A large wall mirror and a heated towel rail have also been fitted.
Each kitchen has a window to the rear of the apartment overlooking the garden. There is brick-effect splashback tiling and a range of contemporary wall and floor units with polished worktops. An integrated electric fan oven and halogen hob have an extractor hood over.
Outside, there is a shared garden to the rear, a shared outhouse and access to a cellar.

Food and Drink
The quiet, picturesque village of Kilchattan Bay has a shop with Post Office and a popular local hotel with restaurant serving non-residents. It also has a regular bus service to Rothesay, the island's capital and the nearest place to buy basic provisions, food and drink.
Location and Leisure Activities
The village is approximately 8 miles south of Rothesay, the principal town on the Isle of Bute, set on the Firth of Clyde. The island is served by two ferry services - the main one is from the port at Rothesay to Wemyss Bay (journey time approximately 35 minutes).
From the port of Wemyss Bay on the mainland of Scotland, Glasgow Airport is about a 45 minute drive away, with the city of Glasgow approximately 1 hour away and Edinburgh about a 2 hour drive.
The other ferry route takes only 5 minutes to cross the water from Scottish mainland at Colintraive to Rhubodach at the northern end of the island. However, Colintraive is on the southern tip of the Cowal Peninsula, so the route by road to Glasgow, Edinburgh and the other parts of Scotland is longer (a very scenic drive).

Prices
From £300 per apartment per week in low season to £400 per apartment per week in high season, for up to 4 people. Rates include all electricity and a weekly change of bed linen and towels.
Short breaks - 3 nights £220 per apartment, 4 nights £250 per apartment, or 5 nights £295 per apartment - depending on availability and time of year.
Other Information
This is totally non smoking self-catering accommodation. 
Multi-fuel stove in lounge. All of the electric radiators are the latest in design, being 'oil filled'.
Both Properties Fully Rewired and Recently Decorated.
